Hi, sorry for my bad english. I have a Rover Mini MPI 1998 and I need one of you to confirm some things.
if you can pair the 5AS of my car with a ECU that buys on ebay. (this is very important for me)
if you can program new key fob. (I need at least two)
if it reads correctly in live diagnostic data. (without errors with update 041A)
Thank you very much for your help, my ACR4 broke down and now I can not pair the new ECU.

Yes, you can replace the ECU and use pscan to learn your 5AS to the ECU.
Also programming a new key fob works fine.
Live data is running, testet with a Rover MINI MPI 2000.

You can only match the MEMS2J to the 5AS if the 5AS is unimmobilised.
Therefore if you have no working fobs then you must log into the 5AS first and code in your key fobs.
Once this is complete, unlock the car using a fob, log into the MEMS2J and use the "Learn EMS code" feature to match the MEMS2J to the 5AS.

Thats a good point!
I assumed he has at least one fob working.
